Story Summary
Meerab falls for the arrogant Rumaan Shah after meeting him at a mall, but scarred by his cousin's betrayal, he cruelly rejects her, pushing her to attempt suicide. When her brother, ACP Shahmir, learns Rumaan's rejection nearly cost his sister her life, he forces Rumaan into marrying Meerab by threatening him through his sheltered sister, Mirha. Shahmir then also forces the terrified Mirha into marrying him.
After marriage, Rumaan treats Meerab with cruelty out of anger, even leaving her out in a freezing storm — but caring for her when she falls dangerously ill melts his heart, and he eventually falls deeply in love with her. Meanwhile, Shahmir turns out to be incredibly gentle and loving toward Mirha, helping her overcome her fears and win her heart completely.
A dark figure from Mirha's past resurfaces at her wedding, triggering a breakdown, and Shahmir and Rumaan track him down for justice. Meanwhile, Rumaan's corrupt relatives lose everything, and he buys back his family's old haveli. He rejects Mahek for good and marries her off to his friend Ahmer. The story ends happily with both couples finding peace, and Meerab and Rumaan expecting their first child.
