Story Summary

The story follows an extended family living in a village in Dera Ghazi Khan, weaving together several love stories — from childhood sweethearts to arranged unions built on protection and care.

Asim Jahangir is fighting a legal battle over land left by his late father, which his step-uncle Akbar Azam and his greedy brother Farhad are trying to steal using forged documents. Farhad, who is also Gul Lala's abusive ex-husband, keeps threatening the family out of greed and ego.

Things take a dark turn when Farhad plans an attack on Imad, but the bullet accidentally hits Kaif instead, putting him in a coma. The village Jirga wrongly blames Hayam's family and orders her to be handed over as compensation (Vani). To save her from this fate, Professor Asim steps in and marries her himself.

At first, Hayam is shaken to find her strict professor is now her husband. But Asim's patience, understanding, and gentle love slowly win her over, and she falls deeply in love with him.

In the end, Farhad is exposed for kidnapping Dua and trying to kill Asim, and gets a life sentence, while Asim reclaims his father's land. Kaif wakes up from his coma and finds love with Ramsha. The story ends on a happy note with the birth of Asim and Hayam's daughter, Muskaan.
