Story Summary

The novel weaves together three love stories within one family. Daeer and Mehru marry despite old tribal tensions, but their happiness is threatened when a vengeful cousin abducts Mehru — until Daeer tracks him down and rescues her.

Meanwhile, Dameer returns home and discovers his impoverished aunt and her daughter Zarbacht, whom he's secretly cared for since childhood. When Zarbacht is nearly forced into an unequal marriage to fund her mother's cancer treatment, Dameer steps in, marries her himself, and becomes her pillar of support through her grief.

The third story follows Raim, who quietly loves Anzish, a proud businesswoman still hung up on Dameer. When she's attacked by a land mafia, Raim risks his life to save her, and his sacrifice finally makes her see his devotion. He recovers, and the two are united.

Years later, the whole family lives happily together in their ancestral home, surrounded by the next generation.
